Michelle has written for numerous daily, weekly, magazine and online publications both on the East Coast and in San Diego County, including the San Diego Business Journal. She is a member of the San Diego Press Club Board and a member of the Society of Professional Journalists San Diego Chapter. She is also a supporter of numerous nonprofits including Life Rolls On, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for young individuals affected by spinal cord injuries. Armed with a degree in broadcasting, telecommunications and mass media from Temple University and AAS in radio and television from Northampton Community College, Michelle aims to incorporate video, audio and open communications to cover local news in La Jolla. In her free time, Michelle faithfully defends the Jersey Shore, listens to music, obsesses about NPR programming including A Way With Words (which is produced in San Diego), relaxes at the beach and offsets her excessive caffeine consumption with acupuncture and meditation. I know what is right for me might not be right for you. I urge everyone to vote. It is part of our civic duty. If you don't have enough time to vote, I don't have enough time to listen to you whine about health care, war, gas prices, energy independence, taxes, abortion, immigration, same sex marriage, marijuana, abortion, stem cell research, global warming or Social Security. Are you registered with a certain party? Of course I am. I would not miss voting in the primaries. That is just ridiculous. Religion: How religious would you consider yourself? I am religious. I believe. I also can attest to the power of positivity and fresh air. We can always meet for a coffee to further discuss religion and spirituality.
