Rescues of the Week: Pippy the Papillon, Bear the Snuggle Bug and Benevolent Baldwin
Pippy the puppy was rescued from a high-kill shelter, Bear is a gentle giant, and Baldwin is a super-friendly boy who loves everyone.
This week's rescue animals are part of the spcaLA adoption program, where all adopted pets are micro-chipped and spayed or neutered, and Ace of Hearts, whose adoption days are held every Saturday at the from 1-4 p.m.
Bear, a 5-year-old German Shepherd mix, is a big boy, but a gentle giant. His favorite activity is snuggling and going for long walks. Pippy is a 6-month-old female Papillon/Dachshund puppy who was rescued from a high-kill shelter where she was left as a stray. She is an 8-pound, pint-sized princess and an absolute sweetheart who loves other dogs. Pippy is already spayed and up to date on her routine shots. Now all this adorable pooch needs is a forever home.
