Weho Residents Win at Lively City Council Meeting

Residents speak out about political issues, from condominium development to park redevelopment, at a recent City Council meeting.

It's all about community, about "hyper-local" news and information. There's nothing more "community" than a City Council meeting—a chance for residents to be heard.

Whether your grievance is about those yellow pages books that get dropped at our doorsteps too often, a huge development that's going up in your neighborhood or maybe you just want to thank the Council and the Mayor for permitting your event, this is the place to participate in your city or town.

Recently, I attended a West Hollywood City Council meeting. It was quite an adventure—from Mayor Duran's wishes for Chaz Bono's Dancing with the Stars debut to some lively comments from active residents.
