Tuesday in West Hollywood means it's time for another evening of WeHo Dodgeball.
Selling out in less than 10 minutes, the 300-member strong league kicked off its first season with a jamboree last week that drew hundreds to the West Hollywood Park gym.
After the matches were finished, players met up at Gym Sports Bar, which sponsors the league and treats losing teams to free pitchers of beer after games.
Founded by West Hollywood resident Jake Mason, a choreographer by day who runs a youth program called PopDance, the new WeHo Dodgeball league already has a wait list filled with dozens of people trying to get in on the action.
For information about the league or ways to coordinate fundraising events through dodgeball, visit the WeHo Dodgeball website, its Facebook page or contact Jake Mason directly at jake@wehododgeball.com.
