"Teen Bullying: Is It Stoppable?"

The National Council of Jewish Women/Los Angeles (NCJW/LA), City of West Hollywood, and Gay Straight Alliance Network are co-sponsoring this free community event to educate the public about a hazard that can cause serious emotional harm to children lasting much longer than a bloody nose or scraped knee. Teenagers who are being bullied may develop physical illnesses, nightmares, nervousness and anxiety, and even become suicidal.

Moderated by Pat Harvey, news anchor for CBS2/KCAL9, this educational program will feature a panel discussion of experts who will address whether there is any solution to bullying, signs to watch for, and what to do when you see someone being bullied.
