As part of CMG LA's continuing CMG CARES programs, we present an overview of basic first aid and CPR -- and yes, there will be live demonstrations!

We are delighted to have the skills and experience of Jimmy McNeal, the Director of Operations at Schaefer Ambulance as our facilitator (see below), who will lead us in an overview and demonstrationof CPR and the use of an AED (come and find out what that is!); a discussion on environmental emergencies, suchas heat stroke, heat exhaustion and hypothermia; as well as some first aid basics we all need to know such as treatinginsect and animal bites, controlling bleeding and a little bit on head, neck or back injuries.
