Weho Event to Recognize Transgender Day of Remembrance

The reception will include speakers from the community.

The city of West Hollywood will recognize Wednesday as Transgender Day of Remembrance with an outdoor reception taking place at 6:30 p.m. at the West Hollywood Library Auto Court.

The reception will include speakers from the community, city representatives, various transgender performers, and will conclude with the reading of the names of transgender people who have passed due to hatred and violence, according to weho.org.
