A suspect was wounded in a deputy-involved shooting in West Hollywood tonight, but no deputies were hit, sheriff's Capt. Mike Parker said.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Palm Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Lillian Peck said

The shooting occurred on the second floor of an apartment building, according to a videographer at the scene.
