A suspect was wounded in a deputy-involved shooting in West Hollywood tonight, but no deputies were hit, sheriff's Capt. Mike Parker said.

The shooting occurred around 9:30 p.m. in the 900 block of Palm Avenue, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Lillian Peck said

The shooting occurred on the second floor of an apartment building, according to a videographer at the scene.

Like I said last week...that building is a drug den, but the news media continues to put its head in the ground and ignore it. I used to live across the street from that building, but I moved because of all the drug activity....how many people have to die before something is done about it? It is now being said openly that the other stabbing of the Doctor was drug related.

George, West Hollywood does not have a police force. We use the Sheriffs Department, so not sure why you said that.
