Deputies Need Help Finding Man Last Seen at a West Hollywood Home

He suffers from memory loss and becomes easily confused, officials said.

Sheriff's detectives were asking the public for help locating a 79-year-old man last seen at a West Hollywood residence, authorities said.

Francisco Mazzola was last seen at a residence in the 8700 block of Shoreham Drive at 10 p.m. Friday, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Deputy Trina Schrader said.

"He suffers from memory loss and becomes easily confused," Schrader said. "Mr. Mazzola's family is very concerned and is asking for the public's assistance."

The 79-year-old Mazzola is described as 5 feet 6 inches tall, 130 pounds, with balding brown hair. He was last seen wearing a blue New England Patriots NFL football jacket, black shirt and blue jeans, she said.

Anyone with information about Mazzola's whereabouts was asked to contact Sgt. Velaszuez in the sheriff's Missing Persons Unit at (323) 890-5500. Anonymous tips can be phoned in to Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or by using the website http://lacrimestoppers.org.
