In observance of New Year's Day, parking meters and associated time limits, as well as peak hour towing restrictions on Sunday, Jan. 1 and Monday, Jan. 2, 2012 will not be enforced, the city says.
Permit parking will be enforced however on Sunday and Monday, and when the clock strikes midnight on Jan. 2, all rules are back in full force. Street sweeping will occur as scheduled on Tuesday, Jan. 3.
Visitor permits will be available on Jan. 1 at the and Kings Road parking structure.
