Nap in the Park

West Hollywood Park has its official reopening with a ribbon cutting ceremony on Saturday at 10 a.m. But one park user took advantage of the shade from a newly planted tree for a mid afternoon siesta on Thursday.

West Hollywood Park doesn't officially reopen until Saturday morning when city leaders cut the ribbon on the renovated park at a ceremony at 10 a.m.

However, the fences around the northern portion of the park that was being renovated have come down and residents have been enjoying the new green space.

This resident decided to take advantage of the shade from a newly planted tree to enjoy a mid-afternoon siesta on Thursday.
