Sunset Strip Picks: The Game

Live Theatre: Exit The King

The absurdist play by Eugene Ionesco presented by Classical Theatre Lab and the City of West Hollywood, continues at Fiesta Hall in for the second weekend in a row. General admission is $20, with $15 for Weho residents, $10 rush, and $5 for students or seniors.

Book Soup: Kris Saknussemm

Learn more about Saknussemm's dark comedy at this evening. According to the book description, Reverend America tells the story of an aging albino nicknamed Casper, who travels home to Joplin, Missouri seeking refuge, only to find himself rescuing a pregnant teenage prostitute and embarking on a journey to the deep South. The author event begins at 7 p.m.

Also Today: Eveleigh's Friday Blackboard Lunch

Chef Jordan dishes up a special lunch menu today. Chow down on mouthwatering aioli chicken sandwich topped with in-house cured bacon, romesco and manchego, or lamb meatball sandwich with mint salsa verde and lamb chopper cheese on a brioche bun. Sounds delish.

The Forecast: Mostly Cloudy

The National Weather Service forecasts calm wind and mostly cloudy weather, with rain likely later in the evening. Temperatures in West Hollywood are expected to reach a high near 63 and drop to a low around 53. Chance of precipitation after 11 p.m. is 70 percent, according to the weather service.
