These Weho Businesses Will Be Open on Christmas

Even though the calendar says Dec. 25, these restaurants and entertainment will have an open sign on Christmas Day.

While most of the city is shutting down by late afternoon today, not everything is closed tomorrow on Christmas Day. West Hollywood has a number of establishments catering to a clientele that is out on Dec. 25 and looking for something to do or eat. 

Here are five places to chose from:

Those looking for a non-traditional holiday can spend Christmas over Chinese food and comics—Jewish and gentile alike. Each ticket ($15) includes a veggie roll, white rice, chicken or veggie entree and a fortune cookie. The 21 and over show is taking place in the venue's Original Room. Doors open at 9 p.m.

2. Dukes West Hollywood

Get your holiday grub on early at the rock n' roll diner located at 8909 Sunset Blvd. Serving up American fare since 1968, the eatery will be open Dec. 25 from 8 a.m. until 10 p.m. Count on Christmas tunes and fresh roasted turkey dinners.

For only $6.95, the quirky cantina offers an all-you-can-eat holiday meal with turkey and all the sides from 12 p.m. until midnight on Christmas Day. Also enjoy bottomless mimosas and bloody marys for only $9.95 a person until 3 p.m.

The chic Sunset Boulevard hotel is offering a festive three-course meal ($95/person) from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. that includes, but is not limited to, roasted chestnut soup, black winter truffle risotto, roasted organic turkey with chestnut stuffing, buttered poached lobster, Liberty Farms duck breast, Christmas pudding, eggnog crème brûlé and Bûche de Noel.

The comedy club hold its 32nd annual Christmas dinner for those who are homeless, underprivileged, or simply alone for the holiday. The event will feature a toy giveaway and performances by well known comedians including Arsenio Hall, Kevin Nealon, Tom Arnold, and Paul Mooney. Christmas Dinner will be served at 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 5 p.m., and 7 p.m., with a comedy show following each one.
