WordTheatre brings NYC author David Means to WeHo

Short Story experts WordTheatre host quintessential New York author David Means at an evening of his stories brought to life by film & television actors. This is the second event in WordTheatre’s three part actor/author series presented in association with Chapman University. Featuring performances from: 

* Kevin McKidd (Grey's Anatomy, Trainspotting)

* Fred Melamed (A Serious Man, In a World...) 

* John Heard (Home Alone, Sharknado)

* David Means is the winner of a 2013 Guggenheim Fellowship and has been hailed as a radical among radicals by The New York Times. He is a National Book Critics Circle Award finalist, and a Los Angeles Times Book Prize winner. He has published over 50 stories in magazines ranging from Esquire to The New Yorker to Zoetrope and his writing can be found in the O. Henry Prize collections, The Best American Short Stories, and several other anthologies. He joins us from New York where he teaches at Vassar.
