Online Poll Names WeHo Sluttiest Gay City

This just in:
"A dating website dedicated to connecting monied sugar daddies with sugar babies seeking financial assistance has named West Hollywood the most promiscuous gay city in the nation, the LA Weekly's "Queer Town" blog reported." Now here is a designation for the ages. And we spent all that money on crosswalks and flags when all we needed to do was wait for the "Queer Blog" poll on LA Weekly. I reckon if we simply changed a few words in that title it would raise a hue and cry (and stink) about the subject matter that would set back civil rights a century. Aren't women acalled "gold diggers and whores" for the same sort of behavior and aren't "kept" women still looked at with scorn and disgust. Hey guys - is this really how you want to be remembered? Is this something to be proud of? Is it even legal? And WeHo - is this how you want to be regarded? Or is it really okay, because it's just another form of revenue stream that benefits the city. Toot toot, beep, beep.

Surprise surprise. This is unfortunate and nothing to brag about. It's also the #1 city with the least amount of soul or life in them as well. Sorry. Not all of course, but most of them. Hopefully you're not one of them.

This is not representative of most of the residents in West Hollywood. This data probably involve tourism. I would assume most out-of-towners over the weekend contribute to this image of the city. Most of the city's residents are professional adults.

When I moved to WeHo 23 years ago - I failed to notice that my apt was in the middle of a "Prostitution Abatement Zone" - and yet it was - over here on the Blighted Lower East Side. I gathered then it was a problem. I see now that it is no longer a problem but rather a status to celebrate. Donna Summer must be spinning in her grave.

This is not shocking considering that West Hollywood has the most densely concentrated population of young gay men in the nation. If we did not have the highest percentage of sexually active gay men, that would be a bit offf. The City also probably has the most gay vibrant dating scene in the nation is someone bothered to spend money on a real scientific poll and not some online entertainment piece.

Read the damn article...it was based on a website for hooking up! And I'm sure it isn't tourists hun. "Professional adults" do a lot of things you may not know about, after the working day is done. LOL.
And, Chloe, I remember those days of the "Prostitution Abatement Zones" LOL. The boy street walkers on Santa Monica and the girls on Sunset. Those days were a hoot. There are still some around but nothing like it was.

Ali, I am so glad someone else remebers the PAZ. At the corner of Curson and SM you could get a $5 BJ and 59c slurpy in under 10 minutes. Many drive up customers were those damned married men who then ambled into 7/11 as if they were just out to get some smokes and ice cream for the kids. Twenty three years ago we tried to abate it; now it is a badge of honor. I agree - those days were more spontaneous and truly a hoot. Now it seems too contrived.
