Wednesday's Scoop: Plummer Park Proponents to Show up in 'Full Force' at Public Facilities Meeting

Members of the Protect Plummer Park movement are likely to attend tonight's meeting at City Hall since trees are on the agenda.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Wednesday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: Public Facilities Commission Meeting

According to the agenda, the commission's new business includes an overview of the Tree City USA program and the city's Heritage Tree Program. Protect Plummer Park advocates are expected to attend. A post on the group's Facebook page states: "We need to be out in force for this. Remember this is one of the commissions that approved the plan to destroy 54 old growth trees!" The meeting is set for 6:30 p.m. in the Community Conference Room.
