Tuesday's Scoop: Street Grinding on Holloway and Horn

There will be no street parking during the posted times.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Tuesday in West Hollywood:

Main Event:

Grinding will commence on Holloway Drive at 8 a.m. and go until 2 p.m., with construction work on Horn Avenue from 12-5 p.m. During the grinding operation, street access will be maintained. There will be no street parking during the posted times. Once grinding is complete, street parking will be restored, the city reports.

Other Happenings:

  •  presents Stephen Witt at 7 p.m. The author will be discussing and signing his contemporary fiction book .
  • New York Times bestselling author Neil Gaiman discusses with comedian Patton Oswalt at the historic Saban Theatre in nearby Beverly Hills from 8-10 p.m.

  • It is beginning to feel a lot like summer in Weho. The National Weather Service predicts a sunny day, with a high near 81 and a low around 62. Calm wind will become south/southwest between 5 and 10 mph.
