Good morning! Temperatures drop, streets close, and the Sunset Strip sees a number of good performers today. Here's what's happening Sunday in West Hollywood:
Main Event: Golden Globes
The 69th annual Golden Globe Awards are returning to the from 5-8 p.m. For those watching the ceremony from the safety of their couch—avoiding the the event is likely to cause— for a look at this year's nominations.

The Pacific Palisades Democratic Club will host the candidates for the newly created 50th Assembly District on Sunday, Jan. 15 from 2-4 p.m. The event will be held at the Pacific Palisades Women's Club at 901 Haverford Ave. in Pacific Palisades. Refreshments will be served. The event is free and open to the public.
