West Hollywood residents may complain fervently about the parking Nazis giving tickets throughout town. But now they can take solace – even celebrities get parking tickets.
Reality star Kim Kardashian received a parking ticket on Friday afternoon in front of her new DASH store at 8420 Melrose Avenue (between Orlando and Croft avenues), which had its grand opening on Friday night.
TMZ reports that Kardashian and her boyfriend, singer Kanye West, pulled up to the store in her $300,000 black Rolls Royce and entered the store after being mobbed by fans and paparazzi.
A few minutes later, a Weho parking enforcement officer came by and discovered the car was illegally parked. Presumably Kim and Kanye forget to feed the meter as they made their way through the crowd into the store, but the TMZ article doesn’t specify.
So, the officer wrote up a parking ticket as fans cheered and took photos.
Within a few minutes, the ticket was gone from the windshield, perhaps grabbed by a fan or one of Kardashian’s handlers.
