Walk-In Health Clinic Opens in WeHo

The clinic offers a range of medical services including urgent and chiropractic care.

A health clinic that caters to walk-in patients held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday at its West Hollywood office.

The Sunset Walk-In Healthcare and Occupational Medicine Clinic provides services that include urgent care, immunizations, travel medicine, chiropractic services and physical exams.

"After 24 years of providing urgent care and occupational medicine in L.A., I am excited to open my own practice in a comfortable and inviting setting," Dr. John Foster said. "I believe in providing personalized medical care of the highest quality and look forward to being of service to our community."

Foster is a native Californian who has an undergraduate degree from Stanford University and a medical degree from the University of San Francisco Medical School.

Chiropractor Brook Merkel is also on the Sunset clinic's staff.

Hours of operation for general medical care are:

  • Monday-Thursday: 8 a.m.-7 p.m.
  • Friday: 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Chiropractic services are available Monday-Thursday 3 p.m.-7 p.m. and 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturdays.

The clinic is located on the mezzanine level of the Sunset Medical Tower, 9201 Sunset Blvd.
