Hundreds Drink Up at 2nd Annual Vegan Beer Fest

Beer lovers from West Hollywood and beyond chow down on vegan bites and brews at The Roxy on Sunset.

Vegetarians and carnivores alike poured into the parking lot Saturday for a common cause—beer.

The , co-hosted by vegan blogger Quarry Girl and Tony Yanow, owner of Burbank's vegan-friendly craft beer bar, Tony’s Darts Away, featured over 50 beers made without animal products from 22 brewers throughout California.

Beer aficionados washed down 100 percent plant-based gourmet Frankenstand franks and organic beet Seabirds burgers with Firestone Walker, New Belgium, Eagle Rock, Eel River, and Stone, all the while soaking up live music from vegan bands—The Silent Comedy, The Stripminers, and Mowgli's.
