The tribute event kicks off the three-day music fest and honors icons who have made an impact on the legacy of The Sunset Strip.

The tribute event will include words from Slash's close friends, a presentation from the City of West Hollywood and live music performance celebrating Slash.

A limited number of 3-Day VIP passes will be available for $250, which include access to the Aug. 26 tribute event. $50 from the sale of each 3-Day VIP pass will benefit Los Angeles Youth Network. LAYN's mission is to end homelessness, one kid at a time, by providing shelter, food and counseling for the abused, neglected and abandoned.)
