Weekend Pet Planner: PETCO Adoption, Microchip Clinic and Healthy Spot Party

Meet your new source for all things canine in WeHo this weekend.

We are so lucky to live in a city that offers so many opportunities for four-legged friends. But in the city with everything, where does the indulgent dog owner begin?

Enter Lucy – your source for all things canine in WeHo. Common activities for this resident maltipoo include fetch, belly scratches, and licking faces. She loves exploring her neighborhood and meeting all the other dogs in the area.

Here are Lucy's picks for the weekend:

2. Lucky Charms Party @

As far as this weekend goes, if you want to make your pooch happy, donate to a good cause, and have lots of human fun, you have to check out Healthy Spot’s Lucky Charms Party on Sunday, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Not only will there be a “pinups for pups” fashion show and a DJ, but doggie massages and a costume contest too! And, because no fab puppy party would be complete without some celebrity appearances, be on the lookout for Debra Wilson (of MADtv) and Starla (fromBravo’s Million Dollar Listing, along with her realtor human, Chad Rogers). Suggested donation is $10, and all proceeds benefit the Four Legged Friends Foundation.

3. PETCO Annual Adoption Weekend

In other pup news this weekend, PETCO will also be hosting its annual adoption weekend from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. You can go to PETCO in hopes of finding a new member of the family.
