Monday's Scoop: City Council to Hear 'Second First-Reading' of Proposed Fur Ban

The ongoing saga of West Hollywood's attempt to stop the sale of clothing apparel containing animal fur continues as the City Council prepares to vote on the ban at its Monday night meeting.

Greetings, and welcome to today's City Scoop. Here's what's happening Monday in West Hollywood:

Main Event: City Council Regular Meeting

The City Council will either adopt on second reading that would prohibit the sale of fur apparel products within the City of West Hollywood or alternately introduce on first reading a modified ordinance based on their comments at that meeting as prepared by the City Attorney. The meeting will take place at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers. Read the agenda here.
