What is so important about the racial comment and the nationality of psychics? Psychics come in ALL nationalities.. In general they have been referred to as "gypsies" because they wander about from town to town. They can't stay in one location long enough to establish roots. Word gets around and the local people learn that the fake psychics are scammers so the gypsy moves on to the next community. There are legitimate psychics who have extraordinary gifts. These people charge reasonable rates and their visions are accurate. The scammers weave a convoluted story and advise the victim that they are "cursed" and the only way to remove the curse is to invest in expensive materials to lift the curse. Some of them even go so far as to have Catholic icons in their offices and tell the victim that they need large amounts of money for materials to so they can go to "church" and pray to the spirits to lift the curse. My guess is the "church" is the casino.
