New Eatery Lemon Basket Open for Business

The Dolce Group's latest restaurant serves up some good grub while starring in a new VH1 reality show.

is part restaurant, part reality television show, all Hollywood.

Located right off Sunset Plaza in the old home of shuttered eatery Ketchup, Lemon Basket serves up a comfort food-inspired menu seven days a week for dinner. It is also the location for VH1's newest reality show, Famous Food, in which a .

The show stars Heidi Montag (The Hills), Jake Pavelka (The Bachelor), musician DJ Paul, and Danielle Staub (The Real Housewives of New Jersey), and set to debut July 10 on VH1.

If you can't wait for the show to air, then hop on over to Lemon Basket to sample their menu. The starters include tasty bites like butternut squash risotto croquettes ($8), DJ Paul's Memphis mac & cheese ($9), and a Maryland crab cake trio ($10).

Craving a larger plate? Go for "The Full Monty" and try entrees like the House Ground 8 Oz Kobe Burger served with aged cheddar, butter lettuce, and heirloom tomatoes on a whole grain brioche bun ($16). Another favorite is the 24 Hour Cabernet braised beef short rib with whipped potatoes ($18).

Want something on the lighter side? Then try the pan roasted Pacific seabass ($18) covered with Asian glaze and served with sugar snap peas, baby corn, and fingerling roasted potatoes. Any way you cut it, there's something here that is sure to please any palate.

Just make sure to save room for the extensive dessert menu. The signature lemon cheesecake, made NY-style with a lemon custard, is a must try. Other offerings include Auntie May's caramel and banana bread cake, flourless Vahlrona chocolate cake, and California strawberry waffle. All desserts are $6.
