Devin Tait Strecker was born and raised on a farm outside the tiny village of Paradise, Kansas (population: 60 and dwindling).  There, he sang and played piano in the church choir, found a creative outlet in his local 4-H club, and at age 13, created and published his hometown's newspaper, The Paradise Post.

Going on to become the editor of the yearbook at Hays High School, and eventually editor-in-chief of both the Fort Hays State University Leader (newspaper) and Reveille (yearbook), Strecker graduated from FHSU in 2000 with a degree in Information Networking and Telecommunications, with an emphasis in Media Studies.  No more than a couple of weeks after graduating - only sticking around long enough to finish the remaining pages of the yearbook - Strecker loaded up his car and moved to Los Angeles with his younger brother.

After bouncing around between a variety of jobs, Strecker finally went to work for the Hollywood Media District BID, where he remained for 8 years before moving on to the Hollywood Property Owners Alliance, the organization which manages the Hollywood Entertainment District BID and the Sunset & Vine BID.

Strecker has volunteered for organizations like PATH, The Jeff Griffith Youth Center, Hollywood 4WRD and Project YIMBY, helping to end homelessness in Hollywood.  He writes a food blog, "Dining Down in Tinseltown" at www.pcdnews.com.

He regularly performs with his band, Devin Tait & The Traitors, around Los Angeles.  For more information, visit www.devintait.com.
