There is the small dining room and bar area, as well as a small balcony area that overlooks the hotel’s swimming pool and provides panoramic views of the city. It serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and on the weekends offers a brunch menu and a Bloody Mary Bar, where you’re invited to create your own spicy drink. There’s also a lobby area in the hotel where it serves cocktails and small plates. The Olive Kitchen + Bar is owned and operated by the same restaurant group that runs some of the city’s most popular eateries, such as the nearby Spanish Kitchen, The Belmont and The Oaks Gourmet Market.

A landmark building designed like an old-time train car, Formosa Cafe has been a favorite restaurant and bar since 1934.More The walls are lined with autographed headshots of famous actors and many with personal notes to Formosa Cafe. Happy hour starts at 4 p.m. and runs until 7 p.m. with discounted cocktails and small appetizer plates. Later at night, this bar is very popular and is frequented by many celebrities. Rooftop parties are very common, and sometimes up-and-coming bands have concerts on the rooftop patio. As far as the food goes, Pan-Asian is what would describe most of the menu.

One of West Hollywood’s favorite Thai restaurants, Talesai has gone late-night and taken over the adjacentMore building to create Night + Market, a spot for post-concert drinks and small plates. The restaurant serves authentic Thai cuisine in a relaxed, hip atmosphere. There are two large, communal tables for diners to grab a bite and a drink before or after concerts at the nearby Roxy and Key Club venues.

Night + Market is the vision of owner Kris Yenbamroong, who wanted to create the flavors of the outdoor markets and street-food vendors found in his native Thailand.

Walking into the Pierre Deux store is like walking into a country home in Provence on a warm summer day. It's filledMore with all of the home furnishings you will need to create that feeling. There are textured fabrics, pillow, carpets and blankets to accent any décor. All of the plates, ceramics and glassware are from France. Pierre Deux is open to the public, but it also works in tandem with some of the town's hottest designers and architects. It also has a large assortment of ceramic bric-a-brac to accent the home with flowers and candles. There are even large silk sunflowers to turn an arrangement into an actual Van Gough painting. Pierre Deux makes its own line of soaps, lotions and room perfume that make great souvenirs or gifts. There is free parking in the small lot behind the store.
