SOVA Community Food and Resource Center 1140 N la Brea Ave, West Hollywood, CA90038 This is the Metro location of the SOVA Community Food and Resource Program, a service of Jewish Family Service of Los…More Angeles. It is a non-profit organization that has grown in the city for more than 150 years. The SOVA Program provides free groceries and support services to qualifying families in the area. Families are allowed one visit per month for an emergency five day supply of food. Canned foods, packaged foods, fresh produce, bread, dairy, meat and grains are provided as available, along with personal care products. Additional support services include food stamp and MediCal enrollment assistance, legal counseling, job counseling and nutrition counselling. The organization can also refer visitors to other health, financial, housing, legal, employment, child care, senior, immigration, veteran, government and rehabilitation programs and services. This location moved from Beverly Boulevard in October 2010. Two other locations are located at Pico Boulevard near Robertson and in the San Fernando Valley.
