@scott Furguson Why not just change the amount of time you can park in a space versus turn on the…Read More meters more and more often to suck more money out of the residents and visitors? It's greed because the core of it is to increase the revenue flow into the the cities already massive parking take which to many is already meter madness! I believe that stream grabbed 10 million last year. There is nothing creative, and or innovative in increasing meter hours and days. It's a move that has one goal and that is to increase the city's revenue stream. Furthermore the spin that it will help business is such a crock of illogical spin that defies the basic common sense that to charge more to come to the city will attract more visitors. Is it possible that the reason that parking has become such a problem is that the council on their own changed the zoning laws and thus pushed more density into he city while also allowing new business to open with not enough parking spaces required by code? Are you familiar as well with the city's cleverly crafted "Parking Credits" program as well?

The sky isn't going to fall in if gays are allowed to marry. If it will shut the militant gays up…Read More about this topic then let them have it already. If and when this comes to pass the gay community should show some class because the people who oppose this feel as strongly as you do. They are church going people and we all know how the church feels about homosexuality.

My fiance and I absolutely love the people and the food at the Burgerim stand! We went here last…Read More evening and grab yummy turkey burgers...great spices. The turkey is locally, organically grown and is delicious, and the people are great...super friendly and always willing to chat about their product, which is cool.

These burgers are simply amazing! Buying turkey and chicken for the work week from Burgerim on…Read More Sunday is seriously one of the highlights of my week. First off, the meat is the best I have ever tasted. Try the Burgerim Turkey Burger, Burgerim Chicken Burger, or the Burgerim Crispy Chicken Burger. Oh its too good.

Amazing meat. They grill many kinds of burgers on-site (lamb, turkey, chicken, tuna). I have tried…Read More almost all of them, and they are all good and all interesting, with various herbs and spices mixed into the patty. I especially recommend the Burgerim Lamb Burger. The prices are very reasonable, all around $7.

I remember just after singer Alyiah died in that tragic plane crash in the Bahamas, cause her little…Read More plane was overloaded with luggage, all her fans went to Tower Records to leave wilting flowers and candles as a tribute to her marvelous music. They didn't go to a Best Buy store, they went to Tower Records on Sunset. It was history. It brings a tear to my eye thinking about it. Not quite a real full tear, but almost.

Personally, I miss the Abbey of old. I stopped patronizing the establishment once it became just…Read More another WeHo club.
As a quiet little coffee shop, it was quaint with much atmosphere and was a great place to sit, have a coffee and a slice of cake and observe people.
Now, it's just another noisy bar.

There food is just so, so. VERY pricey! People eat there to see and be seen. Save your money and get…Read More a healthy burrito at Chipotle. I wish they had put one on the corner of Robertson & Santa Monica Blvd instead on the Bev. center. It would put the other places to eat out of business.

I didn't see the offensive comment, but I am glad it was made (and removed). Those of us living in…Read More West Hollywood for many years are really living in a very fortunate bubble of tolerance in an otherwise intolerant larger society.
So many of the freedoms for everyone to be who they are in West Hollywood don't exist in many places in the world.
The slur coming from or near WeHo should remind everyone that if such a slur (I didn't see it) is felt and made, the rest of the Country, especially the more rural it is, the stronger the hate is.
While we enjoy the life in our bubble, we should not forget to keep up the fight for the rest of the Country/World whenever we have a chance.

If we're going designate something as historic..shouldn't it be required to look better than a dump.…Read More What a joke. Why not designate the mobil station on SM Blvd. a landmark too. Take a picture of the place, put a plaque up and build something that will help the community thrive and bring in more revenue. The lot next store to this dumping hamburger joint has been vacant and and eye sore for years. I wish the family that owns the burger joint took more pride in how the place looks.
