This is a wonderful resource for our local Seniors. Taking away access for a very long renovation reconstruction will disrupt the daily park activities and displace the routine of so many of the neighbors. dt Westcliff Nurses..Home Care.

Plummer Park is one of the larger parks located in West Hollywood. It's located on Santa Monica Boulevard and Vista Street. Even though Plummer Park is best known for its multiple tennis courts, it also features a jungle gym, a basketball court, a busy dog park and a wealth of grassy outdoor space that is often use for pickup football or soccer games. The park has a playground area for children, tennis courts and basketball courts.
Towering trees provide shade to those looking to relax, and picnic areas allow families and friends to gather and celebrate in the open air. You'll find people jogging, meditating, walking their dogs and playing with their children. During the summer, visitors and residents can take advantage of free summer art events such as the "Free Shakespeare in the Parks" or "Free Movies at the Park" series. For more information you can visit the City of West Hollywood's Arts and Culture page.
The park also hosts the Helen Albert Farmer's Market here every Monday. Plummer Park also has the community center and Fiesta Hall where many volunteers gather for their weekly meetings.

This is an historic gem and while it needs some love and attention from painters and plasterers, it is a lovely setting for kids, parents, older people and nature lovers. WPA Buildings form the 40's and lovely Fiesta Hall add to the Old California atmosphere. It is designated California Historic Landmark #160!

Plummer Park is great because it's a rare patch in Hollywood and West Hollywood where you can actually see GREEN! The city is so overcrowded and noisy that its nice to have these little gems still preserved to escape to for some peace and quiet.
