La Fontaine is a historic apartment building on the corner of Crescent Heights Boulevard and Fountain Avenue. The building was constructed in the 1930s by architect Leland Bryant, who also designed Sunset Tower Hotel. Many celebrities have lived here, including Steve Martin, Bette Midler, Cheryl Crowe and Dane Cook. The building is also listed in the National Registry of Historic Places. Twenty-four units are available for rent in the building, which has gated underground parking and controlled intercom access entry.
