Help Wanted: Library Seeks Volunteers

Volunteering at the library is a fantastic way to contribute to the community.

Attention! The is seeking enthusiastic and creative volunteers to help with a range of tasks including, but not limited to:

  • Making our library beautiful by organizing, arranging, and cleaning library materials.
  • Keeping our technology friendly by offering one-on-one assistance to beginning computer users and first-time patrons.
  • Leaving our patrons smiling by helping them carry out basic library functions efficiently.

No library experience necessary. Training will be provided on-site.

Whether you're available for two hours a week or 10, we'll make sure the work you do is useful to us and meaningful to you. To apply just print out this (.pdf) application and return it to the "Ask Us" desk on the second floor.

Any questions about volunteering? Just contact our Volunteer Coordinator Oleg Kagan by email okagan@library.lacounty.gov or phone 310-652-5340.
