Help out those in need through Project Angel Food's "Restaurant Bill Donation Night" at Taste on Melrose. For lunch and dinner this Thursday, 25 percent or more of your bill will be donated to provide free delivered meals to people with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-threatening illnesses throughout Los Angeles County. Check here for the full list of participating restaurants.

The Art on the Outside Subcommittee meets at 3:30 p.m. in the Community Conference Room to discuss the installation of seven sculptures on the Santa Monica Boulevard median at Doheny, among other agenda items. At 5 p.m., the Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission will hear from Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Genevieve Morrill about programs, project and initiatives. The 5:30 p.m. Planning Commission Design Review Subcommittee Meeting has been cancelled. The Women’s Advisory Board meets at 7 p.m. 

Pop Up Gallery at Mondrian LA

Artspace.com, an online marketplace for contemporary art, will materialize in the lobby of the  through mid-June. Highlighted pieces include Polaroid photographs from Jeremy Kost and transformative sculptures by Nick Cave. Additional artists in the collection include Daniel Rich, Ross Bleckner, Rebecca Graham, Alexis Rockman, Rebekka Guðleifsdóttir, Doug Geraghty, Clifford Ross, Kim Keever and David Levinthal.

Cavalera Conspiracy Hit The House of Blues

The band of former celebrity bartender Johny Chow makes its Sunset Strip return at the at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $22.50 advance/$27.50 day of show. This show is ages 18 and older. Another must-see show is The 2nd Annual L.A. Bluegrass Situation, featuring Watkins Family Hour with Sara and Sean Watkins and special guests, at  at 8 p.m.
