Rescues of the Week: Clever Daisy and Chatty Oscar

Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals spotlights a lovable Chow and a talkative Domestic Short Hair.

Daisy, a 7-year-old Chow Mix, is more than just a pretty face. She is a very sweet and smart girl who would love a family to call her own. Daisy enjoys learning. A basic obedience or agility course would be right up her alley. Contact the South Bay Pet Adoption Center at 310-676-1149 to learn more about Daisy.

Oscar, a 2-year-old Domestic Short Hair, is a unique boy who would love to be your new family member. He is affectionate, friendly, and loves to "talk." Contact the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center, at 562-570-7722 to learn more about Oscar.

This week's rescue animals are part of the spcaLA adoption program, where all adopted pets are micro-chipped and spayed or neutered. Ace of Hearts adoption days are held every Saturday at the  from 1-4 p.m.
