Rescues of the Week: Chihuahua Named Bubbles and Garfield the Cat

Two furry 4-year-olds are looking for forever homes.

Bubbles, a 4-year-old Chihuahua Mix, gets along great with other dogs, but prefers a home with older children or adults only. Her owner was unable to care for her any longer. Bubbles is a sweet girl, who can be a bit shy until she gets to know you, but once she warms up, she is quite the snuggle bug. Come check me her out at the South Bay Pet Adoption Center. Call 310-676-1149 for more information.

Garfield, a 4-year-old Domestic Long Hair, is a beautiful, affectionate, and friendly boy, looking for someone to snuggle up with. She gets along well with other cats, and would be good in just about any type of household. Garfield loves being held, so if you are looking for the ultimate snuggle cat, then she's the perfect cat. Visit Garfield at the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center. Call 562-570-7722 for more information.

This week's rescue animals are part of the spcaLA adoption program, where all adopted pets are micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.
