Rescues of the Week: A Cat Named Flea and Carefree Jett

Two young spcaLA males are in search of their forever homes.

Flea, a 3-years-old Chihuahua Mix, gets along great with other dogs and doesn’t even seem to mind the company of cats. His previous owner did not take care of him very well, so he is at the South Bay Pet Adoption Center looking for a second chance. Sometimes loud noises and sudden movements make Flea nervous, so a home with adults only would suit him best. Call 310-676-1149 for more information.

Jett is a 4-year-old Domestic Medium Hair. He is a soft, sweet, affectionate boy looking for a family to call his own. He came to the shelter with a brother who was already adopted. Jett is easy-going and friendly, and gets along very well with other cats. Contact the P.D. Pitchford Companion Animal Village & Education Center at 562-570-7722 to learn more about Jett.

This week's rescue animals are part of the spcaLA adoption program, where all adopted pets are micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.
