Rescue Dog of the Week: Owen the Cocker Spaniel
Otherwise known as "Mr. Wiggles," this 15-year-old loves having his back scratched.
Owen is a 15-year-old neutered cream-colored male Cocker Spaniel who was rescued from a high-kill shelter where he was on the euthanasia list. Despite his age and the cataracts that impair his vision at night, he is in excellent condition. Owen is easy, laid-back and an absolute sweetheart.
Ace of Hearts, a 501c-3 dog rescue foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, holds adoption days every Saturday at the at 508 N. Doheny Dr. from 1-4 p.m. Click here for information on how to adopt a rescue dog from Ace of Hearts.
