Rescue Dog of the Week: Lexie the Lightweight
This American bulldog/boxer mix comes it at around 60 pounds, but could stand to gain a few pounds more.
Lexie is a white and brown 4-year-old female American bulldog who was rescued from a high-kill shelter where she came in as a stray. She weighs approximately 60 pounds, but as you can see, could stand to gain a few more. She is an absolute sweetheart and amazing with other dogs—big and small.
Ace of Hearts, a nonprofit foundation dedicated to rescuing dogs, holds adoption days every Saturday at the , 508 N. Doheny Dr., from 1-4 p.m. Click here for information on how to adopt a rescue dog from Ace of Hearts.
