VIDEO: No Ordinary Signing at Book Soup

When you think of a book signing, you probably picture an author talking about her book to an audience in the bookstore, and then signing copies of that book. Author Janet Wilcox did things a little differently.

Of course when you have a book called Mastering Monologues and Acting Sides, you'll probably do a chapter performance instead of simply reading from your book.

That's exactly what Wilcox did at the famed Book Soup in West Hollywood last week. And it worked. She had a big turnout and made a big impact as she showed instead of just told us about "mastering monologues."
