VIDEO: 'Innocent Flesh' Debuts at West Hollywood's Zephyr Theatre
The Melrose playhouse hosts the premiere of Kenyetta Lethridge's work about teenage prostitution and human trafficking, based on real stories.
Who says that West Hollywood doesn't have great theatre? Last night, a new play, Innocent Flesh, opened right here in our town.
Its provocative theme about young female prostitution and human trafficking brought in a full house of enthusiastic supporters of this important issue. The play is based on real stories of underage female prostitutes in the U.S.
But not only is this an important issue on the minds of many Americans, it's a powerful play, beautifully written and directed by native Angeleno, Kenyetta Lethridge.
