Who says that West Hollywood doesn't have great theatre? Last night, a new play, Innocent Flesh, opened right here in our town.
Its provocative theme about young female prostitution and human trafficking brought in a full house of enthusiastic supporters of this important issue. The play is based on real stories of underage female prostitutes in the U.S.
But not only is this an important issue on the minds of many Americans, it's a powerful play, beautifully written and directed by native Angeleno, Kenyetta Lethridge.
Come along with me for this very special evening of theatre in West Hollywood at the Zephyr Theatre. Oh, and by the way, the play is heading to NYC to an off-Broadway theatre in March.
