There's a new memoir in the . Recently, I had the distinct pleasure of speaking with co-authors Milton Okun and Richard Sparks, Okun's son-in-law, about Along The Cherry Lane.
The book follows the life of Okun, a music teacher who "accidentally" becomes a legendary record producer, working with such greats as Harry Belafonte, John Denver, Placido Domingo, and even Elvis.
Okun explains the genesis of the book—"Richard kept hearing my stories over dinner, so he suggested we put these wonderful anecdotes into a book."
