Barney's Beanery 5 Alarm Chili Cookoff Block Party

Barney's is holding a charity chili cookoff block party with the firefighters of the Los Angeles area, benefiting the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation. We're currently looking for ten talented firefighters who know how to make a mean bowl of chili, and we're still looking to fill 9 out of the 10 spots! On April 30, 2011, from 12 - 4 pm, 10 talented firefighters will compete for the chance to have their chili sold on our menu for 90 days, with proceeds benefitting the Alisa Ann Ruch Burn Foundation! The outdoor event will feature live band "The G's"  and celebrity host George Gray, as well as a panel of celebrity judges. By purchasing a wristband for $10, eager chili tasters will be able to taste all the different chili concoctions and weigh in with their vote for the People's Choice Award. This is in celebration of our 90th anniversary!
