Today Is the Last Day to Register to Vote in March 8 Election

Feb. 22 is the last day to register to vote for the March 8 special election, but you must do so by close of business today. To register or re-register to vote you must be a citizen of the United States and 18 years old by Election Day. You must re-register to vote if you have moved or changed your name. 

Residents can register or re-register to vote either in person or via mail. If you choose to register in person, you can do so only at the following place:

Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder/County Clerk’s Office

12400 Imperial Highway, Norwalk, CA 90650.

Given that it’s unlikely you’ll make it all the way there from West Hollywood before day’s end, you can also register by mail.

You can also register by mail by completing a voter registration form, which can be obtained at a public counter of most Los Angeles County buildings, libraries, fire stations, post offices and Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV).
