Proposition 8 Ruling Expected Wednesday

A rally is scheduled for West Hollywood Park after a federal judge in San Francisco issues his decision on the same-sex marriage ban.

A federal judge in San Francisco will issue a decision Wednesday on California's Proposition 8, which bans same-sex marriage, according to a court announcement Tuesday.

"The court will issue its written order containing findings of fact and conclusions of  the law following the court trial held in January and June of this year," the announcement said.

U.S. District Court Judge Vaughn Walker will issue his decision and copies will be e-filed to the San Francisco, Oakland and San Jose federal courthouses for public review.
