PHOTOS: Weho Residents Hit the Polls

Poll workers say the morning polls have been consistently busy.

West Hollywood residents took to the polls Tuesday morning, turning out in the masses to vote in the 2012 General Election.

Lines stretched outside of buildings and around corners at polling places throughout the cities, as poll workers at several polling places said that the morning turnout had been surprisingly busy.

"The morning has been very consistent," said a poll worker at the Hollywood Temple Beth El. "When people get off of work will be the busiest, but people have been coming all morning. It's been steady."
