Five Things: Sunset Strip Market and More

Here are five things residents of West Hollywood need to know today.

1. There will be an Arts and Cultural Affairs Commission meeting at 5 p.m. Thursday in the community conference room at City Hall.

2. There will be an opening reception for the exhibition, "Freedom of the Press,'' by artist Aaron Axelrod at the MDCI House at 6 p.m. Thursday.

3. Singer Craig Pomranz will perform jazz at the Gardenia Restaurant and Lounge at 9 p.m. Thursday.

4. The Sunset Strip Market, featuring food vendors and a farmers’ market will take place at 6 p.m. at the City of West Hollywood public lot  at 8755 Sunset Blvd.

5. The comedy, "The Boomerang Effect,'' which focuses on the lives of five couples will be performed at 8 p.m. Thursday at the Zephyr Theatre at 7456 Melrose Ave.
