Public hearings with the Planning Commission regarding the City of West Hollywood's Draft General Plan, Draft Climate Action Plan and Environmental Impact Reports are scheduled for Thursday, Sept. 16; Sept. 23, and Sept. 30 starting at 6:30 p.m. at West Hollywood Park Auditorium.
City Council hearings regarding adoption of the General Plan and Climate Action Plan are anticipated to take place in October 2010.
The General Plan sets the policy agenda for land-use development, transportation, energy conservation, parks and public services in the City. In addition, it shapes future budget decisions and the allocation of City services. The Climate Action Plan and the Environmental Impact Report are both part of the General Plan.
