City to Host Veterans Day Ceremony

The annual event takes place at the Sal Guarriello Veterans' Memorial in West Hollywood.

The city's annual Veterans Day ceremony will be held at Sal Guariello Veterans' Memorial on Sunday, Nov. 11.

The event will kick off at 11 a.m. and is meant to pay respects to those currently serving in, and who have previously served in, the United States Armed Forces.

Special guest speakers at Sunday's ceremony include Congressman Adam Schiff and retired U.S. Marine Dave Culmer, chairman of the National Veterans Foundation.

Also speaking will be Andrew Harland, the director of Vietnam Veterans in the Media. 

The Fairfax High School JROTC will perform the presentation of colors, and the National Anthem will be performed by a special guest singer and a quartet from the Gay Men’s Chorus.

Sal Guarriello Veterans’ Memorial is located at the intersection of Holloway Drive and Santa Monica Boulevard in West Hollywood. Parking will be available at the Kings Road parking structure. Admission is free.
