West Hollywood's municipal elections are not until next year, but campaign fundraisers are already underway. City Council candidate Mito Aviles held a campaign fundraiser earlier this week in West Hollywood.
"Isn't 25 years too long for anyone to be in office?" Mito says on his campaign website. "In the last 25 years since the city became a city, West Hollywood has only had 12 elected officials, four of which are still in office," he says.
His campaign website says he's driven by the desire to effect change through the fusion of art, design and politics.
